Easy Grilled Chicken Pita Recipe


Ingredients:
1/2 Small red onion sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup garbanzo beans from a can
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice more for drizzing on top
4 pieces pita bread grilled
Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Instructions:
  • Step number one. Combine all of the ingredients inside the bowl, marinate over the night or at least 1 hour. Grill on high heat for 6-8 minutes on each side.
  • Step 02, In a mixing bowl combine onion, garbanzo beans, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  • Step 03, Grill pita bread then spread yogurt, add arugula, tomatoes, garbanzo bean mixture, avocado and grilled chicken slices. Serve with greek yogurt, a squeeze of lemon juice and a sprinkle of black pepper over the top.
