Prep time: Cook time: Total time:
Yield: 12 Servings
Ingredients: 6 pound bone-in, fully cooked half ham ¼ cup honey ⅓ cup brown sugar ½ cup bourbon 2 tablespoons butter And many more.
Instructions:
Step number one. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Pour 1 cup of water into the base of a roasting pan, then set the rack on top.
Next step is, Remove the ham from its packaging and place it, cut side down, on the roasting rack. Score the fat in a diamond pattern, cutting to a depth of about 3/4 of an inch. If desired, stud each “X” intersection with cloves. (The cloves lend a very strong flavor, so skip them if you're not a fan.)
After it, Tent the ham with foil, wrapping it around the edges of the pan to keep the steam in. Bake the ham for 20 minutes.
